The location is perfect for Antibes I think; close to old town, short walk or taxi to the other side (Juan les Pins) and Eden Roc. The only thing is that you aren’t guaranteed a beach bed if you stay here, they seem to be booked out for days (or more) in advance and honestly, the staff at the beach club were all pretty rude/blase and didn’t care that we were staying at the hotel (almost like the two are separate, if they actually are, they shouldn’t sell it as a part of the hotel!).

The location is fantastic. I don't understand why they charge an entrance fee to the hotel guests for the Royal Beach. Even though we spent a good amount of money at the beach, the bathroom ventilation in the room wouldn't shut off. When I went to the receptionist to tell him what to do, I was literally scolded. Other than that, it's very nice.

Compared to Nice, I prefer Antibes! A quiet and lively town!
The hotel room is quite big, and the Mediterranean Sea is right outside. Walk to the right for 5 minutes, and there will be a beach where you can go to the sea. Walk to the left for 5 minutes, and you will see the original scene of Picasso's famous painting. Booked a 3 night stay, room only. I cant comment on the facilities as we didn’t use them. Reception staff were helpful and nice enough. We were given room 34 on the 3rd floor. It’s a very small corner room with the window looking out on a wall. It was a cheap deal - I got what I paid for. I had asked at the point of booking if we could have had a nice room to celebrate a birthday, if one was available, but this didn’t materialise. Cleaning staff kept the room tidy although we didn’t get replacement clean coffee cups one day. The hotel is 20 mins walk from Antibes train station.

It's quite satisfactory, but it's the only hotel I stayed in this time that only allows you to stay until 11 o'clock, and the others are after 12 o'clock! But fortunately, the location is good, close to the sea, the room is big, and the price is okay
